Pricing questions
What does “billing is not implemented” mean, exactly?
There is no payment provider connected, no subscription record on an account and no code that checks a plan before allowing a feature. The tiers above describe how the product is intended to be sold. Today every account has every capability.
Will my data survive a change of plan?
Nothing about your books depends on a plan. Every company, voucher and report lives in the same schema regardless. Reports — the trial balance, statements, day book, receivables, payables, stock and GST working papers — export as spreadsheets at any time.
Where are my books stored?
Falcon online stores them on servers in the United States. They are not stored in India. The Windows desktop application keeps them on your own computer instead; its installer is not published yet.
Can I run it on my own server?
Not as a supported option today. A server installation on your own PostgreSQL needs the database’s row-level security to cover every read, and the application refuses to start on PostgreSQL in production until it does; that work is in progress. Talk to us if this matters to you.
Is there a free trial?
The whole product is free while it is in preview, with no card. Create an account and try it with made-up figures before you bring in your own.
