In manufacturing mode the menu opens with a Factory section: production and bills of material, job work and batch release.

[0:04] Bills of material
A bill of material says what goes into one batch, how much is lost, and the overheads. Changing it adds a new version; the old one stays, because it explains what earlier runs cost.

[0:17] Planning a run
Plan a run: choose the product and the quantity, and Falcon works out the material it needs, wastage included, against what is in the store.

[0:28] What a run cost
A recorded run takes the materials out of the store and puts the product in, at what the materials actually cost plus overheads — one stock journal in the books.

[0:40] Job work
Material sent out to a job worker is tracked until it comes back, and flagged once it has been out longer than the law allows. Falcon. Start free.
